Gather Your Ingredients

- 1 ½ pounds of boneless chicken breasts
- 2 beaten eggs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- Preferred oil for frying
- Salt and pepper
For the sesame sauce, you will need the following:
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1.4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onions

Start Cooking
If you have never made fried chicken before, now is your chance. If you have made crispy fried chicken before, this recipe will a breeze. The first thing you will want to do is stir in your eggs, salt, and pepper into a medium-sized bowl. In another bowl, mix together the flour and ½ cup of cornstarch. Dip each piece of chicken into the bowl of the egg mixture and then into the bowl of flour. This will be the coating for the chicken you are frying. Next, you will need to heat up about 3 inches of oil in a deep pan. The oil will need to be 350 degrees F. Once the oil is heated, add your chicken and let it fry.
To make the sweet sauce for your chicken you will want to mix your honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch together. Once you mix these together, heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add in your minced garlic and cook until brown. Once your garlic is brown, add your honey mixture and bring it to a simmer. After the sauce is heated and at a thicker consistency, you are ready to pour it on your fried chicken.
